Humans, Yerian and Quinn are Earth beings having accidentally crash landed onto Tala'Nynn over 800 years prior to present day. The intended course, Klaxia, was investigated and proven to be inhospitable due to the local hostile life forms. Emergency take off and damage to the ship caused internal power issues which eventually ended in the crippling crash on this world. The ship itself couldn't be repaired, but, thankfully Tala'Nynn was perfectly suited for hosting the people of Earth. However, hardships were ahead.
It took a number of years for acceptance by the taschevah as cultural opinions on the "invaders" differed from one group to the next causing attacks among both peoples. However, in time the Earthlings were generally considered equal amongst the majority of taschevah. The native inhabitants of Tala'Nynn were won over, if not greatly intrigued by the technology brought by their new neighbors.
Simply put, humans are humans of all colors, shapes and sizes. The survival count of humans upon the landing weighed around 500. Race varies widely even today.
These people are also from earth but are related to what were initially household pets, dogs and cats. In a time of advancement humans needed these pets for very important tasks specifically related to their natural skills. This dealt anywhere from climbing, running, and jumping to major senses of smell, hearing, and eyesight. The yerian and quinn ancestors were rescued from shelters and used as test subjects, eventually leading to the rise of bipeds with the ability to do all the same functions of a normal human.
Unfortunately, the initial understanding of yerian and quinn was similar to that of slavery and not well accepted. It didn't take long for the government to deem them equal rights as humans.
Yerian are the bipedal canids ranging in a number of "breeds" with a variety of heights, statures, and are fairly representative of their original ancestors.

Quinn are the bipedal felines equally similar to the yerian.
